Fotine Rafailedes passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. She was born on August 23, 1928 to the late Moises and Maria Rafailedes. Along with her parents, she was preceded by two brothers George and Anastas "Nasty" Rafailedes. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and Holy Trinity Senior Citizens.

Fotine is survived by her children George (Carol) Caplea of Naples, Florida, Mary Atkins of Canton, Fredricka Stewart of L.A., California, and raised as her own, Richard (Angela) Nelson of Massillon. Also survived by three grandchildren Casey (Kim) Caplea of St. Joe, Michigan, Kelly (Todd) Bower of Powell, Ohio, Thomas Caplea of Canton; six great-grandchildren who had a special place in her heart, Jacob, Chase, and GiGi Bower, Claire, Kate, and Cole Caplea; and several nieces and nephews.

Our Mother loved to dance and go gambling with her friend Helen (Sammi) Sousek. She also enjoyed traveling and took many trips with her son George and his family. We would like to thank Mercy Hospice for all of their care and compassion, and a special thanks to her aide, Angela, for her loving care.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Rossi Family Funeral Home Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 12 noon.
