FRANCES A. MARICOCCHI

Frances A. Maricocchi (nee Pusateri), age 73, of Canton (formerly of Alliance) passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 after an extended illness. Frances was born September 28, 1939 to the late Julia and Albert Pusateri in Alliance. A 1958 graduate of Alliance High School, she was an active member of St. Anthony/All Saints Parish, Miraculous Medal Sodality, and St Benedict. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Francesco and Sergio Maricocchi and mother-in-law Domenica Maricocchi. Frances is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Domenico Maricocchi, sisters-in-law Nina Cafini of Rome, Italy, Maria Maricocchi and Caterina Maricocchi of Canton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be deeply missed and her passing leaves a void in life that will be felt by many. She had a heart of gold, and was the most selfless and soft-hearted person that anyone could have known. Her faith, patience, grace, strength and dignity through her many infirmities were an inspiration to all. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Aultman Hospital and the Aultman Woodlawn Center for their kindness and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 4, 10:00am at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop as celebrant. Family and friends will be received at Rossi Funeral Home Sunday from 2 – 4pm. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Anthony/All Saints Parish Building Fund or St. Benedict Catholic Church.
