Francis E. Davis age 87 of Huron, formerly of Canton, passed away Thursday. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Skelley) Davis, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Glenna J. (Nelson) Davis, son Ronald Davis and 11 brothers and sisters. Francis was retired from the Ford Motor Company after 42 years as a pipe fitter. He was a member of Christ the Servant Catholic Parish and an Army veteran. He is survived by his children Michael Davis, David and Julia Davis, Francine and Andy Reiber, daughter-in-law Susan Davis, seven grandchildren; Ashley (Nathan) Burton, Justin Davis, Lindsay (Thomas) Rice, Mackenzie Davis, Joshua Reiber, Paige Reiber, Franchesca Reiber, three great-grandchildren Addison Graham, Juliana and Cooper Rice, and brother Robert (Terry) Davis. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Msgr. Lewis F. Gaetano officiating. Internment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
