"TOGETHER AGAIN"

Frank Gonzalez, age 93 of Canton, passed away early Saturday, May 25th. Born in Canton to the late Diego and Nora (Montiquin) Gonzalez, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Caroline (Simonelli) Gonzalez, son Frank Gonzalez Jr., and great granddaughter Delaney Grace Stephenson. Frank was a 1951 graduate of McKinley High School. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish and the Spanish-American Center. He retired from LTV Steel in 1991 after 41 years of service, then worked part-time at Sears for 20 years. Frank is survived by his children Tina (John) Mosser, David (Stacey) Gonzalez, Michael (Janet) Gonzalez, Sr., grandchildren Erica (Kyle) Stephenson, Michael Gonzalez Jr., Maria (Garret) Wike, Anthony Gonzalez (fiancee' Caitlin Sears), three great grandchildren Trenton and Malachi Stephenson, and Charleigh Wike. Family and friends will be received Monday, June 3rd at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish from 9 to 10 am. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 am with Rev. Fr. Don King celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Frank's name may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to extend a "Special Thank-you" to the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living and Southern Care Hospice for all their loving care.
