Warth
January 23, 1932 – April 18, 2015
Frank T. Warth, age 83 of Canton, passed away Saturday April 18, 2015 after a short illness. Bron in Canton to the late Albert and Eleanor Warth, he was preceded in death by brothers James and Raymond Warth. Frank attended St. Joseph grade school and was a 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. He graduated from Kent State University, Boston College, was a Holy Cross Brother at the University of Notre Dame then graduated from St. Edwards University in Texas. Frank was a U.S. Marine with the 3 rd Marine Division, serving during the Korean Conflict for four years in occupied Japan. He taught high school for a number of years before working as a Class III filter operator for the City of Canton Water Department, retiring in in 2000 after 20 years of service. Frank enjoyed gardening and traveling. He volunteered at St. John's Samaritan Table for 25 years and Mercy Hospital for 15 years. He lived with a positive attitude and was a wonderful example of kindness, love and service to others. He will be missed, leaving behind many wonderful memories. He is survived by his sister Genevieve Riegler, brothers Richard and Ralph Warth, longtime companion of 42 years Beverly Reiger of Strasburg, OH, many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home and Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneleit celebrant. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Service of Stark County, 625 Cleveland Ave. NW, Canton, OH 44702. The Warth family would like to thank family, friends and the Hospice of Canton who helped thru this difficult time.
