Fred A. Brumfield, age 72 of Uniontown, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born in Mansfield, Ohio on July 1, 1952 to the late Fred and Katie Brumfield. Fred graduated from Mansfield Malabar High School in 1970, and after from Franklin University in 1974 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. He retired in 2016, from Blue Tech Inc. -U.S. as a Major Accounting Representative. A member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, he was an avid golfer and recently started to enjoy bowling. Fred also served on the Board of Directors of Summit Academy.

Fred is survived by his loving wife, Katie, with whom he celebrated 28 years of marriage on October 6th, 2024; sister Lori (Fred) Bruback; mother-in-law Ann Simionides; brothers-in-law Nick (Lori) Simionides, Steve Simionides, and George Simionides; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Halkias officiating. Entombment to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
