Fred Kenst, age 87 of Louisville, passed away Monday evening. Born in Salem, OH he was an Army veteran. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1984 after 40 years of service. Preceded in death by his daughter Renee and son Fred, parents, sisters Ann, June, Kate, brothers Al, Andy and Dan. Fred is survived by his wife of 65 years Eleanor (Pucci) Kenst, daughter Michelle Kenst, grandchildren Angela Kenst (Rich Nelson), Melissa and Ryan Laslofy, Tabitha Wilson, great-grandchildren Christian Vissoc, Alexandra Laslofy, Eric Nelson and special family friend Anne Williamson. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 10:30, Rev. Fr. Thomas Kraszewski officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Fred's name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
