Obituary

Gayle Lynn DiPietro, loving wife, mother, grandmother, cousin and friend to many, born August 14, 1941 Nutley, New Jersey, to William and Emily Anderson, joined her Heavenly Father, April 14, 2025 at the age of 83, Canton, Ohio.

Wife of 34 years to Bruce DiPietro and mother to Lisa (Billy) Hartnett of Orchard Park, New York, David (Jenny) Graham of Dayton, Ohio, and stepmother to Lauren DiPietro of Portland, Oregon. Grandmother to Joseph Adonnino of Buffalo, New York, Andrew Neale of Buffalo, New York, David Graham of Phoenix, Arizona , and Mickey (Abi) Graham of Dayton, Ohio. Siblings remaining to cherish her memories, George (Barbara) Anderson of Green Valley, Arizona, John "Jack" Anderson and Sarah Sutherland both of St. Petersburg, Florida. She also leaves behind her beloved companion Shih Tzu, Tiger.

Gayle was an independent businesswoman in the real estate field including owning her own brokerage company in Western New York. She was licensed in New York, Florida, Virginia, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, and Ohio. She enjoyed the social aspect of real estate as much as helping folks with their real estate needs. She was indeed a social person and never missed the opportunity to sit and enjoy a glass of chardonnay with family, friends, and clients.

She was an avid community volunteer and affiliations over the years included member of the executive committee of The Women's Board of Aultman Hospital, member of the Symphony League of Canton, officer of the New Neighbors League of Canton, board member of The Virginia Opera, board member of the Atlantic Classical Orchestra, Vero Beach, Florida, and serving on the campaign committees of various healthcare facilities in past places of residence.

Her club affiliations included Brookside Country Club, Glenmoor Country Club, The Handicraft Club of Providence, Rhode Island, Sandpipers Club of Newport, Rhode Island, Rhode Island County Club, Barrington, Rhode Island, Monroe Country Club, Rochester, New York, and the Vero Beach Yacht Club, Vero Beach, Florida.

She will be sorely missed. Services will be private at this time. Her family is planning a Celebration of Life to be held in the coming months. Further information will be available via the Rossi Funeral Home website.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aultman Women's Board or The Stark County Humane Society in Gayle's name.
