George L. Carpenter from Santa Rosa, California passed away unexpectedly March 30, 2022, while visiting in Canton, Ohio. He was born January 26, 1956 in Glendale, California and raised in Canton, Ohio. He is survived by wife Janice Carpenter and children, Sarah, Jack (Jane) and Lisa, from a previous marriage George and Alex Carpenter, granddaughters, Gia, Riyanna and Zoe, mother Paula Macris and sisters Cindy Giavasis (Pete Glasser) of Canton, Ohio and Catherine Carpenter of Santa Rosa, California. George was a devoted family man, husband, father, son and brother. He worked in San Francisco as an ironworker for 30 years and was a motorcyclist and fitness enthusiast. Everyone who met George liked him. A private service was held for immediate family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
