George E. Goss, age 99 of Canton, passed away Monday morning. Born in Canton to the late William and Teresa (Hanns) Goss, he was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (Orr) Goss and brother Clarence Andrew Goss. He was an Army veteran of WW II, serving with Company F of the 198 ^th Infantry Training Battalion. He retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1991 as a foreman after 25 years of service. George was a member of the McKinley Eagles and an avid bowler. He also loved playing the slot machines at Mountaineer. Survived by his son and daughter-in-law James and Eileen Goss of Canton, granddaughters Tonia (Richard) Becker, Tammie (Bill) Cutshall, great grandchildren Emily and Cameron. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 10:30, Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
