GEORGE H. MANOS, age 91 of Canton, passed away Wednesday morning at the Ohio Veteran's Home in Sandusky, Ohio. Born in Canton to the late Harry and Despina (Moumtsoglou) Manos he was preceded in death by his brothers Milt, Harry and Augustus Manos. He was a graduate of McKinley High School and an Army Air Force veteran of WW II. He was retired from the Ford Motor Company. George loved to play cards and was a Master Bridge player. He is survived by his children Kathy and Gene Miceli of Streetsboro, George and Rita Manos of North Canton, Cindy and Brian Steele of Twinsburg, eight grandchildren; Julie and Arthur James Miceli, Stefanie (David) Dychko, Sara and Stacy Steele, Andrea, Nicholas and Matthew Manos, brothers and sister-in-law Joe Manos of Perry Twp, Lazor and Loretta Manos of North Canton, sister and brother-in-law Katherine and Harry Zantopulos of North Canton, sister-in-law Mary Manos of Canton and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10 to 11 am at the Rossi Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11 am, Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
