GEORGE D. TRAYNOR, JR., age 61 of Canton, passed away suddenly Monday afternoon. Born in Hamilton, Bermuda he grew up in New Jersey and for the past five years has lived in Canton. George was employed with the U.S. Post Office for 25 years and plant manager for the Canton office. He was the Past-President of Pop Warner Football, Northern Burlington Youth Wrestling and a die-hard Oakland Raiders fan. George was a man of honor and integrity. He had a very big personality and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by his father George D. Traynor, Sr. Survived by his wife Lynn (Wildmann) Traynor, mother Phyllis (Sheeder) Traynor of New Jersey, children Jennifer (John) Chapman of Trenton, NJ, George D. Traynor III of Canton, David Traynor (fiance' Amber Wolfe) of Florence, NJ, sisters Susan Pacuta and Kathy Gallo both of Yardville, NJ, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Priscilla Traynor of Scottsdale, AZ, and very close friends David Curry, Bill Donaldson and Randy Balsley. Respecting George's wishes there will be no calling hours or service. For those who wish, memorial donations in George's name may be made to a charity of your choice.
