Georgia (Panis) Koutras, age 91 of Massillon, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022. Born in Massillon to the late George and Theone (Syrios) Panis, she was a 1949 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. Georgia was the owner and operator of Ceramic's Galore in Massillon. A woman of many hobbies, she loved crafting, quilting, and was also a seamstress. Above all, she loved being a grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nick Koutras. Georgia is survived by her children Pamela (Christopher) Gaitanos and John (Gina) Koutras; five grandchildren Nicole (Ross) DeAngelis, Ashley (Matt) Carona, and Alexandra, Elaina, and Nick Koutras. Also survived by five great-grandchildren, and siblings Dr. Katherine Conlin, Dorothy Protos, Pete (Patty) Panis, sister-in-law Theana Koutras, brother-in-law Anthony Koutras and sister-in-law Jan Koutras.

The family would like to thank her caregivers Stephanie, Candy and Beth and also the staff at Aultman Hospital 4th Floor North for their dedicated support.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services to begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Haralambos Church or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
