GERALDINE F. (FRANZ) STEIN, age 95 of Massillon, passed away early Tuesday morning. Born in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Adolph Henry and Della (Hess) Franz she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred C. Stein and sister Evelyn Baker. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Massillon, Massillon Women's Club and the Canton Symphony League. A graduate of Capital University with a degree in music, Geraldine taught at Garfield Elementary School in Medina and Emerson Elementary School in Massillon. She is survived by her children Chris and Julie Stein of Chippewa Falls, WI, Thomas and Tempest Stein of Eudora, KS, Ann and Thomas Meister of Poland, OH, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will take place on Saturday at 11 am at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Geraldine's name may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 127 Cherry Rd. NE, Massillon, OH 44646 or Capital University, in Memory of Geraldine Stein, 1 College and Main, Columbus, OH 43209.
