GLENN "LEFTY ROWLES" F. ROWLES, age 80 of Canton, passed away Sunday morning after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late William and Esther (Ruffini) Rowles he was preceded in death by his brother William Rowles. A graduate of Lehman High School, Glenn attended Mt. Union College. He retired from J.C. Penny and then Canton Hardware. He loved his corvette, watching the stock market and baseball, playing in the Class A League for Old Dutch. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Mary Jane and William Riegler of Canton and nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Prayer services will be conducted on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Rossi Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at Aultman Compassionate Care Center, especially Dawn, for all their loving care.
