Zenallis
May 21, 1942 – April 12, 2013
GUS N. ZENALLIS, age 70 of North Canton, passed away Friday evening April 12. Born in Canton to the late George and Caroline (Sapharis) Zenallis, Gus was raised in Akron and graduated from Akron Buchtel High School in 1960. He was in the Army Reserves and then the Ohio Army National Guard for 17 years. He was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, St. Haralambos Men's Club, Silver Liners, and the AHEPA Chapter #59. Gus retired from the Timken Company after 33 years as an inspector in the steel division. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Georgia (Sakellariou) Zenallis, sons George Zenallis, Alex (Amy) Zenallis, four grandchildren; Niko, Eliana, Alexia, Yeorgia, brother Bill (Debbie) Zenallis, sister Pat (Phil) Schnee, godchildren and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10 to 11 am in church. Trisagion Services will be Tuesday at 7 pm in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 11 am at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating, assisted by Rev. Fr. Yianni Verginis and Rev. Fr. C.G. Shiepis. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Gus' name may be made to St. Haralambos or St. George Greek Orthodox churches.
