HAROLD THOMAS "TOM" FINN, passed away Sunday, June 23. He was born in Canton to the late Harold and Lula Mae (Sholl) Finn. He was sent to live at the Fairmont Children's Home after the death of his mother. He attended Alliance High School. Tom worked at Macomber's Steel, Stark County Road Department and retired from Conrail. Tom was a past member of Porky's Old Timer. He loved to hike, hunt for mushrooms, garden and run, having completed in several marathons. He was an avid reader. He was married to Pauline (Marchuk) Finn, his wife of 40 years, who preceded him in death in 1993 and his first born son Robert who died three days after birth. He was also preceded in death by Chester and Mary (Collins) Balaski, Max and Barbara Collins, Andy Collins, Louie and Wanda Marchuk, Vince Cammel and former daughter-in-law Rebecca Haubert. Survived by daughters Jean (Ray) Sprankle, Lisa (Brent) Forney, son Larry (Susie) Finn, seven grandchild Raymond, Samuel (Mycha) and Matthew Sprankle, Megan and Nathan Forney, Nicholas and Thomas Finn, six great-grandchildren Logan, Hayden and Preston Finn, Jhet Finn, Saylor and Sami Sprankle, and sister-in-law Nesta Cammel. To the staff at Gaslight Villa Health Care Center, we thank yo for the compassion, understanding and care you have shown Tom over the years and to Dr. Domingo for your kindness and compassion. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday at 10 am in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
