Helen (Varavvas) Bozeka, age 91, formerly of Canton, passed away in New Port Ritchey, Florida on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Born in Canton, to the late John and Anastasia (Petrides) Varavvas, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Steve Bozeka, son-in-law Bill Welker, and brothers Gregory and Anthony Varavvas.

Helen was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church of Canton. She was a retired Registered Nurse with over 50 years of service. She is survived by her children Stephanie Welker, Steve (Sandy) Bozeka; grandchildren Crystal (Rob) Marx, Aaron Welker, Anthony Bozeka, Andrea (Zach) Bartol; great-grandchildren Ariel Marx, Christopher Marx, Robyn (Ben) Cochran, Bohdan Bartol, Gregory Bartol; great-great- granddaughter Brynnlee Cochran; and sisters-in-law Helen Bozeka and Diane Varavvas.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church with services to begin at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
