Helen (Manuselis) Christ, age 88 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018. She was born in Akron to the late George and Katherine Manuselis on July 7, 1929. Helen was a graduate of East High School, and was then employed by the City of Canton as a secretary for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church and the Pan-Cretan Association of America. Helen enjoyed going out to eat for lunch and dinner, taking drives around the city and loved taking care of her home and yard; she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Christ and daughter Rene Miller. Helen is survivied by her grandson Michael Miller; sister Liberty Spataro; brothers George Manuselis and Demetrious (Ann) Manuselis; and son-in-law David Miller. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday morning at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. In the church, with Rev. Dr. Nicholas V. Gamvas officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.
