James "Jim" A. Kinney, age 73 of Canton, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on November 27, 1943 to the late William and Wanda (Johnson) Kinney. Jim was a graduate of Glenwood High School. He was an employee at Hercules Engines, where he worked as a machinist. Racing cars was his passion, that he proudly passed down to his granddaughters. Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. He is survived by his wife Helen of Canton; children Fred Kinney of New York, Dave (Polly) Kinney and Don Kinney both of Canton. Also survived by granddaughters Kristen and Kate Kinney; brothers Art Kinney and Rick Kinney; and sister Nancy Severns. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
