James W. Mitchell age 60 of Canton, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Born in Canton to the late James L. and Lois (Gum) Mitchell, he was a 1974 graduate of Perry High School. James was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a Marine Corp veteran. Survived by his sisters Cheri, Ellen, Sandy, brother Jeff and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, November 13 ^th from 3 to 5 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Inurnment with full military honors will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Monday at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
