James B. Sprague, age 77 of Canton, passed away. Born in Canton to the late Donald J. and Mildred (O'Hair) Sprague, he was an Army veteran serving during the Cuban missile crisis. James was a member of Yesterday's Classics Car Club in Canton. Jim was a friend to everyone he met. He was a generous man and would give the shirt off his back. Jim's love for classic cars was followed by his love for ballroom dancing. He held many awards as a champion dancer. Jim was beloved by all and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his ex-wife and caregiver Faye Diamond, brother Bill (Sandy) Sprague of Delroy, sisters Jane Andrews of Bolivar and Nancy (Jack) Dempsey of Louisville. Respecting James' wishes there will be no calling hours or service.
