James (Jim) J. Walker, age 64 of North Canton, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning. Jim was born in Alliance on December 11, 1953. He was a 1971 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School. A retired employee of Timken Roller Bearing where he was employed for 33 years. He was an avid fan of the Indians, Cavs and Browns. Jim loved boating, skiing, working in his yard and entertaining family and friends at his pool. He was preceded in death by his mother Margaret. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Pamela (DeGirolamo) Walker; son Dustin (Kim) Walker of Illinios; two daughters Carly (Martin) Yohana of Canton, and Bree (Alex) McArthur of Jackson Township; his father James C. Walker of Alliance; two sisters Joan (Rich) Tonelli of Shaker Heights, and Janice (Tim) Howman of Athens. Also survived by six grandchildren Miah Walker-Abbott, Gabriel Yohana, Ronan McArthur, Vincent Yohana, Angel Yohana and Martin Yohana, Jr.; brother-in-law Mike (Cindy) DeGirolamo; and many other loved ones. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Haven of Rest (175 E. Market St. Akron, Ohio 44308).
