Janice L. (Neininger) Spadone, 83 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. She will now spend eternity with the Lord, who she served her whole life. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Janice is preceded in death by her husband Rich Spadone of 51 years, her father and mother Jim and Louise Neininger, in-laws Dominic and Ida Spadone, and grandson Vincent Spadone. She is survived by her sons Rich Spadone and Jim (Mary) Spadone, and grandchildren Richard, Stephanie, and Angela Spadone.

She was the valedictorian of Timken High School in 1957. Janice also donated to many Catholic charities, St Jude Children's Research Hospital, the MAPS Museum, and the Wounded Warriors Project. Her soft sugar cookies were well known in the community, and will be missed.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m., at Divine Mercy Parish at St. Mary Campus, with Rev. Fr. A. Edward Gretchko as celebrant. Entombment to follow in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Janice's name, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
