Jean Scozzarella, age 82 of Canton, passed away early Thursday morning at the Pines Nursing Center. Born in Canton to the late Joseph and Cona (LaLoggia) Scozzarella, she was preceded in death by her brothers Coni, Sam, Angelo, John and Orlando Scozzarella, sisters Mary Plumpton, Amelia 'Lil' Johns and Josephine Gilbert. Jean was a 1952 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. She retired from the Timken Company and was a cosmetologist for many years. She is survived by her daughter Linda Tobin of Idaho, grandsons Sean Michael and Ryan Sterling Tobin, brother Ernie Scozzarella of Canton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Respecting Jean's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held at the Rossi Family Funeral Home Chapel and interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation for the loving care she received from her nephew and niece, Dr. James and Donna Johns and to the Pines Nursing Center for their care and kindness.
