Jeannette M. (Ray) Pelfrey age 69 of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday. Born in Canton to the late Ivan and Rita (Becherini) Ray, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years David R. Pelfrey Sr., grandchildren Kayla and Bryson, brother Ivan Ray Jr., sisters Rita Bridenthal and Barbara Jean Stein. She was a graduate of Oakwood High School. Jeannette is survived by her sons David R. Pelfrey Jr., Christopher (Santanna) Pelfrey, Brian (Tami) Pelfrey, Timothy (Megan) Pelfrey, grandchildren Bionca, Ariana, C.J., Brian Jr., Brandon, Braylon, Charlotte, Braylon, Braxton, Avery, sisters Vivian Meeker, Carol Ann Cronick, Karen Ray, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeannette will be missed by her entire family. She loved her family with all of her heart. She was a known for telling bad jokes , ending up with her laughing and forgetting the end of them . She would give and do anything for any one of her boys, she was proud of all of them. Her grandkids loved their Nani, she always had a story about one of them. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
