Jeffrey T. Buchanan

66 of Canton, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday May 26th, 2020.

He was born on August 2, 1953. He was a graduate of Oakwood High school class of 1971. Employed by Liberty Healthshare. He proudly served in the United States Army for 10+ years. He was a brilliant man, always eager to learn or teach. He attended multiple colleges. He was a Japanese and Chinese linguist and a computer technician. He loved to fix computers as well as use them. He enjoyed traveling, watching football with his son, spending time with family, computers and anything that involved coffee! He was a smart, kind,loving man with a heart of gold. He was survived by his children, Jeff (Stacy) Buchanan, Michelle (Ted Tuttle) Buchanan, brother, Dwight Buchanan (Leslie Jo George), niece, Tina (Brian) Swyrtek and their children, nephew, Ted (Amanda) Huff and their children, 6 grandchildren, Bryce Buchanan ( Amber Barnhart), Autumn Meffert, Lillian Chambers, Gracie Plottner, Stacy Buchanan and Ana Rhoads, 2 great granddaughters, A.J and Aria Buchanan. He was proceeded in death by his mother and Stepfather, Jackoline (Downs) Bill Cowgar, father, Tom H Buchanan, grandparents, Jack and Mary McCreery, sister Mary Ann (David) Hunt. Cremation will take place and a private celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 13th for family and close friends.
