Jeffrey A. Mallory age 70 of Massillon, passed away Friday afternoon. Born in Akron to the late William H. Mallory and Betty Hiel, he was preceded in death by his brother Bill. Jeff was a Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War having received two Purple Hearts. He was a self-employed Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. He was a Past-president of the Jackson Jaycees, Past-president of Shady Hollow Country Club, Past-president of Jackson Baseball Association and a baseball coach, treasurer of many organizations and a Rotary member. He enjoyed golfing, baseball, was an avid Cleveland Browns, Indians, and Buckeye fan. Jeff loved spending time with his five grandchildren, especially attending all their events. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Carol (Fabrizio) Mallory, daughter Rene (Kurt) Gerschutz, son Steven Mallory, five grandchildren; Mallory, Maggie, Leo and Andrew Gerschutz, Ruby Mallory, sisters Donna, Patricia, Cathy, brothers Robert and Michael. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Donald Zimmerman for his dedicated care and support. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home and Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 am at church. A Mass of Christian burial will be con-celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 am in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Scott Kopp celebrant assisted by Rev. Fr. Sam Ciccolini. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
