Jennie L. Kannam, age 91, passed away December 20, 2021 at the Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born on January 9, 1930 to the late Theeb and Bessie (Barhome) Summers in Charleston, West Virginia.

Jennie was an active member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, involved with the Ladies of St. George and volunteering at the monthly Middle Eastern dinners. She loved following the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers, and Indians. Jennie was previously a member of AARP Everhard-Belden Chapter. She recently enjoyed going to SarahCare of Belden Village Senior Center where she was affectionately known as "Miss Jennie."

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and true love, William "Bill;" sister and brother-in-law Helen and Ed Kilrain; brother Albert Summers, brother and sister-in-law Andrew and Rosalie Summers; and brother-in-law James Kannam.

Jennie is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Kannam; as well as brother-in-law George Kannam; sisters-in-law Dolores Summers and Sadie Kannam; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held Monday, December 27th from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., officiated by the Very Rev. Fr. Michael Corbin. The funeral will be live-streamed on St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church's facebook. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
