Jerald D. Leary 1948-2016 age 68, of Land O Lakes, Fla., passed away Nov. 4, 2016. He was born May 28, 1948 in Canton, Ohio, to the late Jess and Mildred (Beagle) Leary. Jerald was a graduate of Canton McKinley High School, he was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a graduate of Ohio University with Bachelors and Master's degrees in Healthcare Administration. Jerald worked as a Nursing Home Administrator in both Ohio and Florida. Jerald is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Carl Daniel Leary. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Renee (Calloway) Leary; his son's: Bret (Kristy) Leary of Cumming, Ga., Jason (Jennifer) Leary of Seminole, Fla.; sisters: Tina (Rudy) Detweiler, Sandy (John) Croft; brother, Michael (Kay) Leary; five grandchildren: Alexis (Jason) Leary, Hunter (Jason) Leary, Makenzie (Bret) Leary, Connor (Bret) Leary and Brynn (Bret) Leary, whom he "loved to the moon and back." Jerald was also blessed with many nieces and nephews, whom he thoroughly enjoyed spending time. A family and friends gathering will be held from 9-11 a.m., with a memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 12th., at Rossi Family Funeral Home, 730 30th. St. N.W., Canton, OH 44709.
