Jerry Joan Thomas January 18, 1931 – April 25, 2026

Jerry Joan Thomas, age 95, passed away peacefully at The Inn at Whitewood Village on Saturday, April 25, 2026. She was a mother, sister, Grandma Joan, Aunt Joan and G.G. to her family that adored her.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas; her grandson, Matthew Thomas; and her two sisters and four brothers.

She is survived by her three children: Debbie Riegler (Dave), Pam Bayer (Mike), and Greg Thomas (Phyllis); her four grandchildren: Brittany Bradley (Johnny), Amy Stuck (Jonathon), Molly Stiner (Ryan), and Drew Bayer (Ashley); and her four great-grandchildren: Charlie, Bronson, Fiona, and Robert.

Calling hours will be held at Rossi Family Funeral Home in Canton, Ohio on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Service to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of America (hospicefoundation.org) or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (afsp.org).
