Jo Anne Lafferty-Sullivan, age 84 of Canton, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Born in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Joseph and Rosina (Marsh) Lafferty, she was preceded in death by her brother Robert H. Lafferty. Jo Anne was a retired bookkeeper having worked for Virginia Cleaners in Oakland, California. She also loved to volunteer at the Humane Society.

Jo Anne is survived by her children Andy (Stephanie) Sullivan, Shelley (Richard) Neff both of Canton, Melissa Alexander of Sacramento, California, Elizabeth Semons of Las Vegas, Nevada, 12 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her special niece Dana Lafferty-Cochran and special friend of 70+ years Margie Holland-Boehmer.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to great-niece Angela Cochran and all of the Astoria Nursing Facility, along with all of the Crossroads Hospice professionals.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services to begin at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Jo Anne's name, may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
