Joan E Johnson, age 79 of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, September 2nd, 2021. She was born in Canton to the late Herbert and Lida (Beckley) Pfingsten on May 7th, 1942. Joan was a 1960 graduate of McKinley High School, and was later employed by Nationwide Insurance before becoming a stay at home mother and later working for the family business. Joan was an avid bingo player, loved trips to Vegas, but mostly cherished her time with family and friends at Cutty's Sunset where she was a season camper for 40 years.

Along with her parents, Joan is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Johnson and son Todd Johnson. Joan is survived by her daughter, Joy (Mark) Kaufman; sister Nancy (Richard) Reinbold; grandson Stone Kaufman; and granddaughter Saylor Kaufman.

Family and friends will be received at Rossi Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 7 p.m. with the retired Judge Richard Reinbold officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph's Senior Living Employee Fund in Joan's name.
