IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan (Zutic)
Kramanak
January 18, 1921 – February 17, 2014
JOAN (ZUTIC) KRAMANAK, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2014 surrounded by her family's love after a short illness. Our "Baka" was born January 18, 1921 and raised in Zagreb, Yugoslavia (Croatia). There, she met and married her husband Frank. Together in America they raised two children. She retired from Carm's Grocery Store and again from Gabe's Deli. She is survived by her daughter Jeannie (Chet) Niewierski of Canton, granddaughters Lindsey (Brian) Stevens of Springfield, Ohio and Kortney Niewierski of Kent. She also leaves two great-grandchildren, Maddie and Joe Stevens. She is also survived by her son Frank Jr. (Diane) Kramanak and grandson Ryan of Green, Ohio. Baka dearly loved her sister-in-law Ivanka Kramanak, niece Zdenka and her family, and nephew John. In Croatia, she is survived by a sister, a sister-in-law, nieces and nephews and their families whom she was able to last visit at age 90 and also loved dearly. The family wishes to thank the Niewierski family for embracing our mother into their family after the death of her beloved husband in 1990. Thanks also to Dr. Fayen and Bethany Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Of deep Orthodox faith, she was a life long member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in North Canton. She was an active member of many church activities, especially her Serbian Sisters. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 6 to 9 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home and Friday morning from 10 to 11 am at church, funeral services to follow at 11 am, Rev. Fr. Alexksa Pavichevich officiating. Pomen Services will be held on Thursday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to The Salvation Army or Wishes Can Happen. "LAKU NOCH, BAKA!"
