Joanne DiFolco, age 88 of Canton, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2017. She was born in Canton, on September 19, 1929 to the late Namer and Nelle (Saab) Esber. Joanne was a graduate of Timken High School; she was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, the Columbian Ladies of the K of C, the Phoenician Auxiliary and the Bore Club. She loved traveling with her husband and children, especially to her favorite destinations, New York City and Las Vegas. Along with her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Robert DiFolco; brothers Louis and Theodore Esber; and sister Josephine Kassouf. She is survived by her children Anthony (Stephanie) DiFolco of Key West, FL, Roberta (Gale) Parsons of McConnelsville, OH and Teresa (Brian) Spangler of Canton, OH. Also survived by grandchildren Nicholas Parsons, Andy (Molly) Parsons, Angelica and Jake DiFolco, Alicia (Bryan) Wood and Sarah (Michael) Bickel; and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Wednesday at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, with Deacon David Conversino as celebrant.
