John C Ghezzi, age 86, of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2022. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Patricia Ghezzi (Erickson), brother Ernest Ghezzi, and granddaughter Tomi Ghezzi. He is survived by children Charlene Parkinson (John), Rocco Ghezzi (Ronda), Michael Ghezzi (Denise), six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, brother Richard Ghezzi (Sheila), loving companion Sherryl Dudek and her son Jason Dudek (Kaci). Born in Canton on January 4, 1936, John was a graduate of McKinley High School, Class of 1954. John enjoyed golf, playing cards and spending winters in South Florida. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 to 11:45 am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 12 noon, Rev. Fr. Scott Kopp officiating. Interment will be in Northlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Aultman Hospital Hospice and Compassionate Care Center.
