Dr. John A. Michailides D.D.S., (August 19 ^th , 1936) passed away February 7 ^th , 2018, at the age of 81. Preceded in death by his parents; Athanas and Paraskeve, survived by his sisters Thespina Michailides and Evelyn Pantelas, son Thomas, grandchildren Samuel and Gabby and son Nick (Cindy) grandchildren Aison and Maggy, and several nieces and nephews. John graduated from McKinley High School, obtained his undergrad at Kent State University and D.D.S. at the Ohio State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force, 1 ^st Lieutenant from 1964 to 1968, and practiced dentistry in Canton, Ohio for 40 years. John loved to fish, golf, baseball and traveling. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church with The most Honorable Father Dan Rogich officiating. Visitation 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
