JOHN "THE PIRATE" KALENTERIDES, age 61 of Englewood, Florida, formerly of Green, Ohio, passed away Monday April 7 after an extended illness. Born in Canton, he was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and a past-president of the church. John was vice-president of Kappa Benefit Services. John was an avid golfer, motorcycle enthusiast and loved boating. He was preceded in death by his father Timothy Kalenterides on April 1, 2014. He is survived by his mother Kathryn (Manos) Kalenterides of Florida, fiancée' Cyndi Jacobs, son Tim Kalenterides of Delaware, OH, daughter and son-in-law Angela and Jimmy Keefer of North Canton, sister and brother-in-law Paula and George Harrison of Canton and brother Tim Kalenterides, Jr. of Green, OH. Many nephews, nieces, cousins, boaters, friends and acquaintances. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (4705 Fairhaven NW, Canton) and Monday morning from 9 to 10 am. Trisagion Services will be at 7:00 pm Sunday. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 am with Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Holy Trinity's Building Fund.
