JOHN R. ROTUNNO, age 80 of Canton, passed away Monday. Born in Glen Cove, New York to the late Lorenzo and Ingrinada (Stanco) Rotunno he was preceded in death by sister Rose Bardarro and brother Anthony F. Rotunno. He was a 1950 graduate of Timken Vocational High School where he was Captain of the basketball team. John was an Army veteran, member of St. Peter Catholic Parish and an avid golfer. He was a self-employed barber serving the Canton area for many years. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Leroy Vaught of Canton, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Janet Rotunno of Michigan, sister-in-law Nelda Rotunno of Canfield, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 am at St. Peter Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Edward Beneliet celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
