On Thursday, June 2, 2022, John Silagy, loving husband and father of five children, passed away peacefully at the age of 87. John (John S.) is survived by his wife of 67 years, Anne, his five children, John Silagy, Susan Monteleone, Andrea Arnold (Craig), Sharon Funk and Melissa Rudd (Andy) and his eight grandchildren, Adrienne, Anthony, Ashley, Abby, Audrey, Adelyn, Tyler and Carson.

John proudly served in the United States Army and resided in Louisville, Ohio. He loved gardening and golfing as well as serving as an usher at St. Louis Church for nearly 50 years and an active member of the Game Reserve Association.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 5th from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 6, 2022 at St. Louis Church in Louisville at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville, Ohio.
