John G. Victor, age 94 of North Canton, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. He was born in Inclazel, Romania on January 6, 1932 to the late George and Ravecca Victor. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1970 and married his wife, Martha Kavrtis, in 1978. John was the owner and operator of his upholstery and furniture business, Livingston Furniture, which he started 1988.

Along with his parents, he was preceded death by his wife Martha Victor; brothers George, Emil, and Vincent; sisters Laura, Maria, and Victoria.

John is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Ana and Marcu, in Romania; niece Camalia; Godchildren Melissa and George Vraciu; and many other nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at St. George Romanian Orthodox Church on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Remus Grama officiating. Interment to follow at West Lawn Cemetery.
