Jolonda G. Mull, age 81 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. She was born in Oklahoma City on April 16, 1943 to the late John and Velma (Newchurch) Merrin. A 1961 graduate of Canton McKinley High School, she after attended Kent Stark. Jolonda retired from Canton City Schools, where she was both a Teachers Aide at Belle Stone Elementary and a Librarian at Fairmount Learning Center. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, and would frequently attend Bible Study. In her free time, Jolonda loved to read and be in the outdoors -gardening, traveling, and hiking.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Mull; son Marty Mull; and father and mother-in-law Harley and Margaret Mull.
Jolonda is survived by her daughter Raegan (Reggie) Brunson; grandchildren Noah and Quinten; sisters Tommie (Tom) Clark, Karen (Dave) Swope, Nikki (Don) Horner, and Desiree Merrin; and brothers-in-laws Gary (Livvy) Mull and Michael (Jan) Mull.
Family and friends will be received at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Funeral services will begin in the church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow ta Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
