Jonathan Welch, 26, born on February 23, 1997, passed away suddenly on October 25, 2023. Jon is survived by his parents George and Jessica, his siblings Samantha, Nick and Georgie, his grandparents Ray and Diane Italiano, Aunt Andrea (Jerome) Dean, Aunt Stephanie Italiano, and Uncle Francis (Kelmah) Italiano, and Cousin Julius. He will forever be remembered for his wildly free spirit, his overwhelming love for his family and friends. Jon loved to travel, snowboard with Nick, hunt with Grandpa and Daniel, any time that he could spend in the kitchen (bumping elbows with George), and teaching his brothers to ride dirt bikes. He had a passion for grilling food, smoking brisket, and brewing mead for friends and family, and sitting by the fire for hours talking and laughing with his sister Sam. In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may donate in Jon's name to One of a Kind Pets in Akron. Friends and family members may attend the service, officiated by Pastor Kevin Thomas, on Friday November 3 at 4:00 p.m. with a meal immediately following at Full Devotion - FBC Canton located at 4110 38th st. NW, Canton OH 44718.
