Joseph Abraham, age 83 of Canton, passed away Wednesday February 21, 2018. Born in Canton to the late Joseph and Hameda (Elliot) Abraham, he was also preceded in death by his brother Fuad "Fred" Abraham and sister Waheba Foust. Joe was a graduate of McKinley High School. He retired from the Stark County Sheriff's Department after 28 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapshooting. Joe is survived by his brothers Abdu "Butch" (Rochelle), Rick, and Nadeem (Marie) Abraham; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m., with Pastor Nicholas Abraham officiating. Interment, with full military honors, will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
