Joseph P. Barbato, age 57 of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon. Born in Canton to the late Patrick and Margaret (Nichols) Barbato, he was preceded in death by his brother James E. Barbato. Joe was the owner of Barbato Flowers and Greenhouse for the past 33 years. He dearly loved his family and his greenhouse. He is survived by his wife Jean M. (Artale) Barbato, with whom they would have celebrated 35 years of marriage on September 25, 2017, children; Dominic, Adam, Angeline, Joseph, sisters and brothers-in-law Margie and Bud Moulin, Nancy Barbato, Liz and Terry DeMuesy, Trish and Rocco Cusano, Tina Barbato, sisters-in-law Deborah Barbato, Deanna Barbato and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, and Tuesday from 12 noon to 1:00 pm. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with, Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. IN LIEU OF DONATIONS SEND FLOWERS.
