Joseph Carioti, age 73 of Canton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Born in Canton to the late Francesco and Vincenzina (nee Lioi) Carioti, he was also preceded in death by brothers Frank, Albert and Gerald Carioti, and sister Mary (Katie) Slicker. He was a graduate of Canton McKinley Senior High School. He enjoyed sports, good food, music and walking with his friends. He retired from Allegheny Technologies after more than 30 years of service.

Joseph is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He enjoyed life and was adored by his family and friends. He was always dependable and punctual. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow at 7 pm.
