Joseph "Joe" Charlikowsky, 78, of Canton, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Joe was born on January 3, 1946 in Oberlahnstein, Germany, to the late Wasyl and Yadwiga (Yakshuk) Charlikowsky. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railway and was a Veteran of the US Army.

Joe enjoyed collecting coins, classic movies, conversation over a cold beer and listening to Ukrainian music. He was a truly giving and loving man and will be missed by many.

Joe is survived by his sons, Mike and Jeff (Patricia) Charlikowsky, and his step-children Nick (Tara) and Kim Conley. He also leaves behind grandchildren Gabriel, Gavin, Max, and Mick Charlikowsky, his sisters Krystyna Myronowytsch, Irene (Jay) Bednar, and Helen Zak. Additionally, he is survived by his sister-in-law Jeannie Charlikowskyi and many nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, wife Adeline Charlikowsky, brothers Nick and Steve Charlikowskyi, sister Maria Charlikowskyi, and brother-in-law Augie Myronowytsch.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 10:00 am – 10:45 a.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home in Canton. Funeral services to begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Sunset Hills Memory Garden in Canton.
