Obituary

Joseph J. Rusinsky, age 96, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014, in the Cleveland residence of his daughter Carol and her husband David. Born in Passaic, New Jersey in 1917, he was a precision roll grinder for 43 years at Wean United in Canton, retiring in 1978. A member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and a former member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed traveling and woodworking, especially building doll houses. Preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth, his parents Paul and Mary Ruzinsky, his brother John, and his sister Margaret Pezel. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and David Jones of Cleveland, Joan Marie and John Schweickert of Sterling Hts., MI; a son and daughter-in-law Larry and Marci Rusinsky of Ann Arbor, MI; two granddaughters, Laurie (Brent) Ringold and Christine (Jason) LePla; three great-grandchildren; a brother Michael (Rosalee) Ruzinsky of Canton, and a sister Ann Jobak of Canton. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 4 to 7 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home (730 30th St. NW, Canton,OH 44709). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 am at Christ The Servant Parish (formerly Our Lady of Peace at 1001 39th St. NW, Canton,OH. 47709). Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
