JOSEPHINE M. (FUGGIANO) GARDNER, age 80 of Canton, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013. Born in Clarksburg, WV to the late Cosmo and Velma (Persico) Fuggiano she was preceded in death by her daughter Debbie Cottrill, son David Gardner, sisters Caroline Caley, Rose Caley, Stella Sturia and brother David Fuggiano. She was retired from Geauga Plastics. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Diane and Ed Clarke with whom she resided, seven grandchildren; Edward (Melanie) Clarke, Justin and Adam Clarke, Shannon (Andrew) Willett, Eddie and Shawn Cottrill, David Gardner, great-grandchildren Ryleigh, Stella, Maddox, sister Mary Spadafore of West Virginia, brothers-in-law Ronald Caley and Dan Sturia both of Canton and many nieces and nephews. There were no calling hours and a private funeral service was held. Interment was in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. For those who wish memorial donations may be made to Aultman Hospice or St. Anthony Church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt special thank you to the staff of Aultman Hospice and the staff of Aultman Compassionate Care Center for their loving and compassionate care of Josephine.
