Josephine Elizabeth (Messinese) Bressi, 87 of Canton, died on November 27, 2015 at home surrounded by family and friends. She was the mother of Anthony J. (Jamie Merz) Bressi and Vincent J. Bressi; grandmother to Kevin A. Bressi and Jesyka (Bressi) Morris; great-grandmother to Kelsey Drew Morris and Mckenzy E. Morris. Born on August 8 ^th , 1928, she worked 36 years at Our Lady of Peace Convent as a cook. Preceded in death by her husband Ben J. Bressi, and son Bernard J. Bressi. Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m at Christ the Servant Catholic Parish, and a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m., with Msgr. Lewis Gaetano as celebrant. Intement will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to express their appreciation to Nina Valentine, Patty Zimmerman, and Aultman Hospice for the love and care for their mother.
